Scholarships 2023
Each year our local community generously donates many scholarships to graduating seniors who plan to further their education.
All students are encouraged to complete the application process regardless of what type of post-secondary education they plan to pursue. Please contact your counselor, Ms. Baize for copies of the applications.
Important Dates
Tuesday, March 28, 2023 - Deadline to request letters of recommendation.
Students need to fill out a "Brag Sheet" and give it to teachers with their request for a letter of recommendation. Requests made after this date are not guaranteed to be completed on time.
You can print and fill this in by hand or press, "file" "make a copy" to edit on your own google doc.
Tuesday, April 4, 2023 - Application deadline.
All applications must be completed by 3:30 p.m. After 3:30 pm the applications will no longer be editable.
Thursday, May 11, 2023 - Scholarship Interview Night - 6:00 p.m. Students will be interviewed by scholarship committees. Representatives of the various organizations offering scholarships will receive invitations for this event and will be able to observe responses of the students who have applied as well as ask their own questions.
Wednesday, June 7, 2023 -- Scholarship Awards Presentation -6:00 p.m. Scholarships will be awarded to students by scholarship committee members.
Students are expected to dress in formal attire for both events.

There are also various other countywide and national scholarships available to you. For county specific scholarships please visit Mendocino County Community Foundation to create an account. Once you complete the general application it will list all the scholarships you qualify for. Please see your counselor if you have additional questions. Note: These scholarships have a different due date of March 10th.

Online Scholarships - Various DUE DATES. There are thousands of dollars left sitting every year because students do not apply. Please apply!!!
California-Hawaii Elks Association: Several scholarships and grants are available from Elks National Foundation and the California-Hawaii Elks Association for high schools seniors and/or college students.
